Melissa Grimes


As a mother of 3, Melissa has always looked for ways to destress. Melissa works as a School Psychologist in Bay Village so she has work stress and home stress that can pile up if not properly addressed. Daily, she counts my blessings for the job she has both professionally and personally, but sometimes we need to recognize our limits and to learn how to take time for ourselves. Melissa has done aerobics, HIIT training, and boxing, to name a few, but the most consistent practice that has helped her mentally, spiritually, and physically is Yoga. Melissa began a regular yoga practice in August of 2019. After COVID hit she decided she needed to do something to give back to others and thus began my Yoga Teacher Training with Cathy Madeo in Fall 2021. Melissa finished my 200 hour YTT in December of 2021 and then completed my additional 300 hour YTT with Cathy in July of 2022. She is proud to say that she is a fully certified 500 hour RYT Yoga teacher. 

Melissa loves teaching any type of class, but her favorite is Yin. She aims to have students feeling connected, inspired, and appreciated. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi Melissa looks forward to enhancing your yoga journey! Namaste
