NICOLE PERKINS


Nicole has been practicing yoga for over 11 years and completed her CYT-200 through Vision Yoga in Cleveland, OH, in 2018. Her practice began in her early 20's while living in Chicago, thirsty for a more flexible and therapeutic form of cross-training. Her first yoga teacher created such a tremendous impact that she knew early on becoming a yoga teacher was a path she was meant to take. Nicole also practiced gymnastics for over 9 years as a child, so her love of backbends and inversions runs deep!

Practicing yoga regularly, particularly Vinyasa classes, allows her to feel a strong sense of athleticism, while still engaging in the spiritual, meditative aspects of yoga. An avid marathoner over the past 12 years, Nicole loves that yoga complements the sport of running and allows for deep stretching to relieve muscle stress.

You can expect Nicole's classes to be fun, challenging, and enlightening; always set to (what she considers) the perfect playlist. Her class structure is loosely based off Baptiste methodology, however, she loves to incorporate influences from both the Ashtanga and Dharma disciplines.
