ZAK SMITH


Zak first came to yoga as a form of recovery, while marathon training. Throughout the training, Zak realized how much he craved the yoga practice and that space to not only tend to his body but also tend to his mind. After completing the marathon and the training that accompanied it, Zak continued to practice yoga; not as a training tool, but as a way to connect & establish a nurturing relationship with himself.

In 2018 Zak completed the Be the Love YTT with Tammy Lyons and Inner Bliss Yoga Studio. Zak has been able to practice self-acceptance & self-love with his yoga practice. Yoga and teaching yoga have helped Zak show up fully as a school teacher; who meets his elementary students where they are with their emotions. In Zak's yoga classes you'll experience breathwork, learn yoga philosophy, and focus on aligning with the current season through the lens of Chinese Medicine.
