We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and dynamic sales associate to join our studio team in Fairview Park, Ohio. The Community Relations & Sales Associate assists our Founder and the Director of Possibilities with new membership sales as well the retention of current members. The Community Relations & Sales Associate works at our front desk, providing superior customer service while assisting new and current students in class selections, answering membership questions, and transacting retail merchandise purchases. We expect you to be excited about meeting and greeting our customers and be part of building a strong and tight knit community. The Community Relations & Sales Associate also assists in training other desk yogis and helping implement sales goals for each desk shift. This position will also help with studio cleanliness and general maintenance. Yoga knowledge or background is preferred but not required. Previous sales experience is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills

  • Ability to learn and use the Mindbody software system

  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone, text and email

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Must have proficient computer skills in Google Docs & Excel

  • Daily and/or occasional travel may be required

  • Attend special events and trainings as needed

  • This position will be encouraged to take all of the classes offered in the studio. This is important for when team members are recommending classes to members and prospects so each person is set-up for a safe, educated, and positive class experience that meets their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute full sales process of lead generation, follow up, and adding members to the community

  • Tracking leads and their 5 touch point sales journey in our Google Doc lead sheet

  • Meet and exceed sales goals as established by our Founder & the Director of Possibilities

  • Help train other desk yogis & establish sales goals for each desk shift

  • Manage the front desk by greeting students, getting them checked in for class, and checking out retail & service sales

  • Answer any questions students may have in person, via phone, text or email

  • Conduct studio tours & Mindful Meetups with new prospects to build rapport and facilitate sales

  • Be knowledgeable about Hope Yoga’s mission, vision, pillars, retail, offerings and employees

  • Emphasize and enforce objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness provider

  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota

  • Participate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, farmer's markets, and community events) to promote the studio

  • Helps create partnerships with other local small businesses

  • Creates corporate yoga partnerships with larger local businesses

  • Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment

  • Maintains inventory levels in studio for retail sales--making changes as needed in Mindbody Software and Squarespace

  • Package and ship all online retail orders

  • Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills

  • Other duties as assigned
