KIRSTEN MARTIN • TEACHER
Kirsten began practicing at Hope Yoga in 2023 as a way to improve her physical fitness and quickly discovered the additional benefits of stress and anxiety reduction as well as improved symptoms of depression.
She truly believes in the healing power of yoga as it has been a transformative part of her life. Kirsten’s love for Yin Yoga prompted her to explore her practice further by completing the 20 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training offered through Hope Yoga in the Fall of 2025.
This experience solidified her desire to become a yoga instructor, and she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Hope Yoga in 2026. She feels yoga has been a gift to her that she wants to have the ability to share with others.
When not practicing yoga, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, interior decorating, writing poetry and long walks with her Havanese, Mia.
